When I think of free in terms of thinking, I do not equate it with free-range chickens (I only do that when the "free" thinking results in the likes of Jimmy Carter, Rosie O'Donnell or Charles Manson).
Free for me means unencombered (as God is free) - no restraints to the process of thinking.
But truly, thinking itself is a form of delimiter (by the very act of thinking); ergo, there is no such thing as a truly free thinker (there are limits on the "chemicals" poured to the brain-fire, for instance. And then, garbage-in (public education) garbage-out (Niki Giovanni).
So, very nice Sir. Aptly put. Brief, and to the point!

Kudos for one fine thought, and one fine quote.
Postscript: wish it were my own!
